Supplemental Materials Required:
1. Writing utensils. Notes must be taken and you may use the writing
utensil of your choice. Tests and quizzes must be done in pencil.
2. Spiral notebook for notes.
3. 4 function calculator.

Rules and Expectations:
1. Be on time. You must bring a pass if you are late. We sill begin
Class and doors will be locked when the bell rings.
2. Wear your ID badges. This is a school requirement.
3. Cell phones, IPODS, and all electronic / battery operated devices
are prohibited from being used while in class. Adherence to this
policy is mandatory.
4. Food and drinks of any type are not permitted during class.
5. Hats and sunglasses are not permitted to be worn during class.
6. Please be prepared to participate, ask questions, and learn.
7. Treat all members of the class and the teacher with respect. In turn, respect will be shown you.
8. Never give up. Ask questions and ask for help.

Grade Breakdown:
Tests 40%
Quizzes 20%
Homework 20%
Class Participation 20%

Tests will be given after each chapter or two, depending on the length and degree of difficulty of the material being presented. Quizzes will be given occasionally and will be worth 20% of the final grade. Homework will be given on most days of the week except Friday’s. These assignments will be picked up and reviewed in class on a daily basis. Class participation is exactly what it says. Ask questions, participate in discussions and doing problems, be involved and most of all learn. If you try, you will succeed.

Passes:
Only one student may leave the room at any given time. Please do you best as adults to use the restroom in between classes so that you may gain maximum advantage of attending the entire class.
