Objective of this course: This course is designed to help you prepare for the State Biology I exam at the end of this course. You must pass this Biology I Honors class and pass the end of course exam in order to receive biology I credit for graduation. You will be asked to learn essential biology topics that will be tested on the exam. Homework reading and writing assignments will be given to enhance your learning of biology.

Attendance is very important – remember each class is 90 minutes of learning

Labs: You must be present to receive the credit of the lab – see me for makeup in Rm 367 within a week of the lab.

Homework will be reading assignments, writing assignments and task assignments. Homework must be turned in on time to receive full credit. If you are absent on the due date, it must be turned in when you return. Field trips are not absences and work is to be turned in prior to the planned field trips.

Science Fair Project - working on a problem that you can research and test
