Reading---Block 1

Oral and silent reading will take place.   Students will read information and short stories from workbooks to determine the main idea and details, and/or use pictures to increase comprehension level.

Assignments are given Monday-Wednesday (which may include note-taking, defining vocab. taken from the story).

Make-up day is Thursday

Test every Friday (unless there is no school)

Homework every night-- (study notes and vocabulary).

Read some type of material (magazine, book, internet--use websites that were given in class).
