Classroom Procedures (Do's and don'ts):
Do:
? come to class everyday on time!
? come prepared for class EVERYDAY! Bring more than one pen and paper to get you through each day.
? wear your ID around your neck or clipped to your shirt in school everyday.
?
be sure to be in your assigned seat!
? respect me, yourself, and others. This goes for personal belongings. Ask kindly to borrow someone else's materials!
? behave in a mature and appropriate matter. Misconduct will not be tolerated and your appropriate Assistant Principal will be notified, along with a conference with your parents or guardian.
? ask to use the restroom during passing time and only in an extreme emergency. During instructional time, no one will be allowed to go to the restroom!
? remain in your seats until the bell has rung for your next class.
? make-up all work when absent. All daily assignments and due dates for graded assignments will be posted on my webpage. Make sure a parent calls in to excuse your absences. You have two days to make-up class work assignments and quizzes/tests.
? turn in work on due dates. Late work will not be accepted unless your absence is excused.
? take responsibility for your own actions.
? follow these procedures and we will have a great semester!
Don't:
? get up out of your seat while I am teaching or to socialize with a classmate/friend.
? go behind my desk or take any materials from my desk without permission.
? steal from anyone. Stealing is unacceptable and will be firmly dealt with.
? lie.
? copy. Cheating or plagiarizing will not be tolerated. You will receive a zero on the assignment and a parent will be notified! You must do your own work!
? talk while I am teaching, even if it is about the material. If you have any questions regarding the material, please raise your hand.
? make fun of other students during class.
? put your head down or sleep during class.
? use foul language in the classroom.
? bring colored beverages into the classroom. Only water in a closed container is permissible.
? use your absence as an excuse for not reading or understanding material covered in class.
? Take out or use your cell phone during class. It will be taken immediately and a parent will have to come and get it from your administrator.
