Advanced Placement/Studio Art 2-D Design Final Breadth organization will be due Monday Nov 14. Your BEST images should be in each category. You will be given grades for each section and a grade for the whole breadth. QUESTIONS YOU SHOULD PONDER AND BE ABLE TO ANSWER USING ART VOCABULARY (line, shape, rhythm, repetition, etc) Written Commentary you will be required to verbalize on your exam (describing whay your concentration is and how it evolved. Responses should be concise. specific images as examples. (1350 character maximum)
The concentration should be unified by an underlying idea that has visual coherence. It is imperative that the chosen theme, subject matter, and medium are of personal interest. Students will need to produce twelve (12) pieces of compelling work organized around a central theme. The concentration requires twelve (12) images. Where the portfolio will be enhanced by a detail, this may be included. Once a student chooses a concentration they should be committed to it and continue with it.
Images for your concentration are due Wednesday November 9th. You must have at least 25 images that work!!!
