 ***Problem Statement Opitions for Essay #1, "My Experiment":

            Option #1:    Shomari and Juanita were walking through the school courtyard during lunch when a swarm of

                                  bees appeared and began buzzing wildly around Shomari, but ignoring Juanita.   Shomari was

                                  wearing the perfume "Sensational".

            Option #2:    Roberto places two jars of home-canned green beans on a shelf in his family's kitchen pantry.  He

                                  canned both at the same time.  When he opened both jars one month later, he found one of the

                                  jars of beans was still edible.  However, the contents in the other jar were discolored and smelled

                                  horrible.

            Option #3:    Shu-Ling finds an abandoned 4-week old kitten.  She takes it home and gives it cow's milk to drink. 

                                  A week later, as she was walking through her neighborhood again, she noticed a female cat eating

                                  with her own kittens, which were identical to the kitten she had found earlier.   Shu-Ling observed

                                  that the kittens with the mother cat appear to be more alert and active than the one which she

                                  brought home to raise.
