CLASSROOM POLICIES & PROCEDURES
Marketing & E-Commerce Marketing
- All information in the Student Conduct and Discipline Code Book will be enforced. Students will be expected to abide by all aspects of the Knights Code at all times.
- Wearing your School ID- students will only be allowed to enter class if you are wearing your school ID. Punctuality is extremely important to this class as well as your future employment. Monarch has a zero tardy policy and doors will be locked after the warning bell. If late, be prepared to report to the IS room.
- Students should be prepared each day to class by bringing a pen, folder with pockets, and a spiral notebook for occasional note taking to class each day. You are encouraged to purchase either a disk on key to save your marketing projects; otherwise you will save under the monxserver.
- A detention will be administered if the teacher or another student is disrespected in class. This includes using foul language in class.
- Students will only sit at their assigned computer station each day. No rolling across the room in your swivel chair, as you are to remain in front of your assigned computer station.
- PASSES- Using the restrooms and/or water fountains should be handled between classes; however each student will be limited to no more than 1 pass per week. Use a sign-out sheet on clipboard.
5. Submitting Assignments- The majority of your class work/projects will be submitted electronically to me using the monxserver folder.
- No standing at the door prior to bell ringing. You may however sit at one of the tables in class 5 minutes before the end of class.
- Weekly class activities & assignments will be posted on my teacher website, including DECA activities and upcoming events.
- Any student caught cheating will receive a zero and your parent will be notified.
- Semester grades will be determined by projects, quizzes, class work, practical exercises, attendance, class participation, and exams.
- Want 50 bonus Points? Purchase a Yearly Date Planner and update for all DECA activities for the year from my teacher webpage. Due by the 2nd Friday of school!
Computer Lab Rules
- Students may only sit at their assigned computer once directed by teacher.
- Absolutely no food or drink permitted at your computer area. However you may drink water at one of the tables in class.
- No playing video games or checking emails during class.
- Always close out any program you are working on by the end of class.
- Keep your computer station clean and free from loose paper.
- Push your chair-in when leaving your computer area.
- See Mr. Kennedy immediately if your computer station is dirty or damaged in any way, otherwise you may be held responsible.
1st offense- student receives a written warning on a detention.
2nd offense- student will be removed from computer for 1-day.
3rd offense- student will be removed from computer for 1-week.
4th offense- Student will no longer be allowed to use computers in classroom.
These rules are posted to my teacher website for future reference.
These rules must be signed by both you and your parent and returned to me by the 2nd week of school.
