Unit 1 Ch 1-4
Objective:
Students will show knowledge of the 5 components of health-related fitness using 2 pictures for each component.
Students should provide information on the benefits of that component and at least one test used to assess or evaluate that component of fitness. Include 3 sentences showing knowledge of 2 vocabulary words. Be sure to use geometric figures to make the poster interesting.

Part II: show knowledge of how to start an exercise program to attain acceptable levels of fitness. Use 3 vocabulary words (in 3 different sentences) to show your understanding of the meaning of the words.

Poster: provided by the teacher
• Should include titles; use color on writing to draw attention to important details
• Tests used should be summarized in your own words
• Lines should be drawn using a ruler
• Geometric figures should be used to organize information
