Journal: Critics say that America is falling behind the rest of the world in education.  Many cite that it is due to America's school calendar.  America still bases its calendar on the days when students needed to be our for summer to help their parents harvest the crops.  Meanwhile, most other industrialized nations are on a year-round calendar, some even attending 6 days per week.  Should we change our schedule to be more competitive?  Why or why not?  Give details to support your answer.
