Our Daily Routine:

Daily Poetry Fluency Comprehension the first 30 minutes

Managed Independent Learning Stations- 60 minutes

Station 1: Oral reading, Vocabulary study, Comprehension, Critical Thinking and Test Taking Strategies.

Station 2: TeenBiz3000 Computer Differentiated Instruction

Station 3: Project based activities for comprehension, writing and critical thinking

Class expectations:

Students are to be on time to class each period throughout the day.

Students are to wear their ID badges daily.

Students are to be prepared each day with pen or pencil.

Students are encouraged to try their very best and put forth effort.

Due to the structure of this course, students must report to teacher upon return from an absence to get any make up assignments.

Class work not made up, will be a grade of zero. If in the Internal Suspension program, students will have an assignment to do listed under the Assignments section.
