Miss Cain-Liberal Arts Math 3

Course Syllabus 2008-2009

Attendance:

*Regular attendance to each class is required.

Make-up Assignments:

*Students are given two days for every day that is missed to make up any class-work or homework that is

   assigned during an absence. 

*All class-work that is due on the day of an absence is due upon day of return. 

*All tests and quizzes must be made up after school during make-up period.

Tardy Policy:

*Students may not come into class after the tardy bell, unless he/she has a valid tardy pass.

Homework:

* Homework will be checked for effort and completion.

* All work must be shown to receive credit. 

Tests:

* The students will have multiple tests throughout the year at the teacher’s discretion.

* They will be announced at least one week in advance.

* On the day that test is returned, the student will have the opportunity to make  

    corrections to the test to make up to half of the missed points.

Notebooks:

* Students are required to keep a 3-ring binder.

* All handouts, notes, quizzes, and graded work should be inserted in chronological  

   order.

* There will be random notebook checks throughout the semester.

1) Loose-Leaf Paper                                                       

2) 3-Ring Binder

3) Four- Function Calculator

4) Sharpened Pencils

No Spiral Notebook Paper and

***Students are required to bring all supplies to class everyday!!!***
