• Lab Safety Contract (Form must be signed by student AND parent/guardian)
  • Each student will receive one in class. If you lose it, please download, print, sign, and place in the wooden "in box" on my desk.

• Sunshine State Standards
  • These are the concepts that teachers are expected to teach and students are expected to master as per the state of  Florida guidelines.

• Fire Drill Information
  • In the event of a fire drill or actual fire, students exit the "front" door, turn right into the main corridor then proceed to the front of the building and exit down the inside stairwell.
  • After turning right, please do not exit through the double doors on the left, go outside and down the outside stairs!
  • Once outside proceed to the east parking lot until you see the numbers 363 written on the pavement. Stay there.
  • Do not gather with friends. Stay with your class.
  • Do not touch, lean on, or sit on cars in the parking lot.
  • When the bell sounds return to class in an orderly manner.
  • Do not go to the bathroom or anywhere else, come straight back to class. Be back within 3-4 minutes.

• Science Project
  • Every student enrolled in an honors class @ Monarch High School is expected to complete a science project.
  • This is an independent study project.
  • This assignment includes a student research project, a research paper, and a display board complete with charts/graphs and pictures.
  • The project will be due May 1, 2008.
  • If you are simultaneously enrolled in two (2) honors classes in science, you will only complete one (1) project.
