AOIT-Artificial Intelligence and Robotic Programming

Course Content:  This course is designed to provide a basic programming skills and critical analysis based on a predetermined goal. This course is completely on-line and the students will work in groups to complete a robotic programming challenge to mimic the behavior of an insect for a NASA contract. In addition to the robotic programming, the students will write the software for a video game.

Topics include:

In depth analysis and problem solving

Robotic programming

Writing software

Troubleshooting software programs

Robotic analysis

Make-up Work: Students will have 2 days to make-up any class work that was missed due to an excused or unexcused absence. Please see me for make-up work.

Grading Policy:

            Evaluation: Daily Assignments, Class Participation, Projects, Quizzes and Test

            Grading Scale:  According to Broward County Grading Policies

Homework/Class Preparation Policy:

Students must bring all necessary supplies to class each day.  This includes Monarch Planner, paper, pen, pencil, and secondary storage device (CDRW or Flash Drive) for all documents.  Students will be assigned a folder to hold any printed projects, test, and/or quizzes.

Academic Integrity:
