NHS Application Process 2012

In order to be inducted into the Monarch High School chapter of the National Honor Society, one must meet the following requirements.

  • Must be a current Sophomore or Junior
  • Must have an un weighted GPA of 3.0 or above
  • Must have at least 30 documented service hours
  • Must submit 2 Letters of Leadership
  • Must have a clean discipline record

 

Please download, print, and complete the following documents to apply for National Honor Society membership. All applications are due to Mr. Rumpfeldt in room 301 by the end of the day on March 23, 2012. Students will be notified of their application status within 2 weeks of receipt of application.

Meetings: Meetings are held the second and forth Wednesdays of each month after school in room 301.

Dues: Dues are $5. Make sure your dues are paid.

Email: Make sure the sponsor has your email on file and that you are receiving group emails. If you haven't gotten one yet email Mr. Rumpfeldt.

Service Hours:

Each member is required to have 60 hours of service. Twenty of those hours must be directly from National Honor Society activities. The other forty hours can be outside NHS, but must be advisor approved. Signatures must be acquired from all sponsors and descriptions and dates must be included.
