DECA Competition Map

Choose of the following classes:

  • Marketing Essentials
    Introductory class for 10th and 11th graders
  • Marketing Applications
    Concurrently with or after Essentials has been taken
  • E-Commerce Marketing
  • 3rd course completer for students in marketing program.
  • Marketing On-The-Job Training (OJT)
  • Available  only to 11th & 12th graders with good attendance.  You must have passed to FCAT to qualify!

*Students must also have Essentials, Applications, or E-Commerce to participate. All jobs must be marketing related.



All students enrolled in any of these marketing classes are considered to be a DECA member.
DECA, a National Association of Marketing Students, is a vital part of these classes' instructional and educational curricula.

DECA, "An Association of Marketing Students" is the appropriate career and technical student organization for providing leadership training and for reinforcing specific career and technical skills. DECA shall be an integral part of the career and technical instructional program, and the activities of the organization are defined as part of the curriculum.
