The purpose of BPA is to prepare students for the business workforce through the advancement of leadership, citizenship, academic and technological skills. By integrating its programs into the business classroom, BPA instills leadership, professionalism, poise, dependability, patriotism and competency to all students. Opportunities for having fun, visiting new exciting places, experiencing new activities, and growing both personally and professionally is what BPA is all about!
BPA is for any student who is presently enrolled in a business course, any student who took a technology course previously or anyone who just has an interest in the area of technology. Our BPA chapter at Monarch High School is made up of students in grades 9-12. Dues are $20.00 per year and can be paid by the candy fundraiser or by cash in October.
MEETINGS – held after school on the 1st Thursday of each month
COMPETITIONS – Sign-up for Regional Competition. We have over 50 contest areas that students can compete in. Tell us what you are good at! Contests are offered at the Regional, State & National levels. By doing well in Regional contests, you advance to STATE!
CONFERENCES & COMMUNITY ACTION - You can pick and choose activities you want to get involved in. Relay for Life in April is a favorite!
